The new year has found me without the ability to write. I’ve been so busy and so worn out that I’ve not had pen to paper time. It also has seen me without time for blogging as well, so my apologies for the radio silence here.
It has found me, though, with better inter-personal relationships, even though the days seem to be going by like seconds and I’ve barely got time for myself.
Revitalize

I find myself staring down the barrel of a new job, and with that excitement comes the revitalization of a few storylines that I’ve had to put aside due to lack of interest – my own, that is.
I also find myself being able to write long bits at a go, and not splitting my attention into other things, the story is keeping my interest, which means that it will likely keep my reader’s interest.
I truly feel that I’ve been revitalized, that things have changed for the better. That I’ve moved on from who I used to be, to another step of becoming who I am.
Becoming a Best Selling Author is Easy…

It’s the getting there that is the hard part. You need to come up with a unique, gripping story that will sell to just about everyone in just about every format.
Getting from point A to B is the hard part, filled with rejection letters, rewrites, false starts, years of pain and trouble, feeling alone, finding out that you’re not, and getting very tired of seeing what you consider “crap” getting published while your gem isn’t.
Yeah, I’ve been there. All writers have been there at least once. Writing does not lean towards being a social event, even though NaNoWriMo brings together writers in a common cause.
Walking the long road is hard, and those of us who walk it, need love and understanding, so that when we do write that best seller, we can thank them for being there for us through the long haul.
